It's been quite sometime since I last wrote something and occasionally someone will ask, "When are you going to post something on your blog again?" I would shrug and remind them I took it down. The truth is to why I haven't written in a long time is simple, I'm lazy. Yep, lazy. Oh, and a little concerned that I'm sharing a little too much of my life with the general public (aka "Facebook Friends" and "Any poor fool that happens to find this blog by mistake"). I had taken my blog down months ago but no one took my snazzy title "If I'd lived in New York, I'd be Normal" (shocking, I know) so I've reclaimed it.

- I’m in my early 40s, single and child-free and I like it that way (except for the “40 something” part). Despite hating Winter and golf, I live in Minneapolis, Minnesota because living here gives me 24/7 access to lefse. I can’t stand the idea of scrapbooking or grocery shopping at Cub, but can’t imagine life without French comedies or spa services. According to Minnesotan standards, I’m a bit of an “odd duck,” but if I lived in New York, I’d be normal.
